Mmd's
Moscow office was established in 1999, following the business expansion of several of our pan-regional clients into the Russian market. Since that time, we have built an experienced team, focusing both on servicing multinational companies and Russian companies looking to communicate both within
Russia and outwards in international markets.
Mmd's
Moscow office has a team of over 30 professionals and operates through two inter-locking divisions. These are:
PR Division: we offer B2C, B2B and corporate PR for Western clients communicating with their customers in
Russia . This division includes our famous Tech PR team - one of the most highly regarded in Russia, serving major global brands, and particularly good at focusing on business media - and our highly successful Lifestyle & Consumer Affairs team, which achieves ethical PR through creative and innovative campaigns, with great content, aimed at end consumers;
Eurasia Strategies Group: this division serves both Russian and Western clients using teams of highly experienced and senior consultants. It operates two inter-locking teams. One provides strategic public affairs counsel, including Government relations, while the other houses our IR practice (now one of the best-known in
Russia ). The IR team advises clients on IPO PR and M&A PR (currently advising one major MNC on competition issues' public affairs across
Eurasia ), including helping Russian firms run international PR campaigns to support their overseas acquisition strategies. This division also supports our public affairs teams in our offices in Kyiv and in Astana, Kazakhstan
Hubbed from our regional HQ in Moscow, we now increasingly offer both Western and regional clients pan-Eurasian PR and PA campaigns across Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, as well as our own resources in Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
Stakeholder Audits For both Eurasian and Western clients we have extensive experience, across Eurasia, of carrying out stakeholder and political perception audits encompassing Government, regional and local officials, other politicians, peer group businessmen, trade bodies, media, academics and other opinion formers. These audits can vary from 'Elitny' one-to-one interviews, through to Western-style focus groups and one-to-one telephone polling: we do this in-house and do not sub-contract it. We have carried our major, highly discreet and successful audit projects for major international companies and Russian financial-industrial groups including in the Oil & Gas, banking, Electricity, Telecoms and Infrastructure investment spheres.
Training programs Mmd has developed specific training programs, which can be offered in local language by our in-house team to cover core communications functions. These include:
* Media relations and presentation training for Chief Executives and Board members (with video playback and practice interviews with senior, discreet journalist)
* Media relations for in-house PR departments; a master-class (with video exercises and a real-time situation 'fire-drill')
* Crisis management training: a 2-3 day training program for senior executives and heads of communications: on crisis management techniques, crisis media relations and a full-day 'fire-drill' of training using real-life, individualized examples, with actors and video play-back to maximize the acute value of the training experience.
Our training packages are well-respected and have been used, across the
Eurasia , by some of the world's largest multi-national companies, for whom we are also on stand-by for crisis PR advice.
